Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Mikaela McElligott, doing business as Mik Mac and The MACRA Method (“Mik Mac,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles health-related information you choose to share for coaching applications and services.

Information we collect

Depending on what you choose to provide, this may include fitness goals, training and nutrition history, injuries or physical limitations, and other health-related details you share in your application or coaching communications.

How we use it

We use this information to review your coaching application and, if you become a client, plan, provide, and administer your coaching.

Where it comes from

We collect the information from you through the coaching application and, for clients, through coaching communications and updates.

How it is handled and shared

Your application is collected and stored using Google Forms and Google Sheets. Information may then be transferred through Make to Notion for application review and coaching administration. These providers process information on our behalf to support those specific purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Your choices and requests

You may ask what information we hold, request access or deletion, or withdraw consent for future collection or sharing where consent applies. Email mikmacmania@gmail.com with the subject “Consumer Health Data Request.” We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity. Withdrawal does not undo prior processing and may affect coaching that depends on the information. If we deny a request, you may ask us to review that decision.

Retention and safeguards

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to review applications, provide and administer coaching, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We limit access to people and service providers who need it for these purposes and delete it when no longer needed, subject to applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. If our collection, use, or sharing materially changes, we will update this policy and obtain any consent required before the change takes effect.
